Vic-Torrie

First off, can I just say I kindasorta have a love/hate relationship with the word "victory"?

The love part comes from me being so full of myself that I love any word with my name in it.

Seriously, growing up I was obsessed with the word "mandatory" because it was my best friend's name (Amanda) and my name put together.  Pure genius in word form, right?

The hate part comes from the fact that my name almost means victory.

Well, technically I haven't ever found "Torrie" straight up spelled exactly my way in any baby name or name meaning book.  Ever.  Jerks.

But when I do find some form of my name, it always has the same meaning:  Shortened form of Victoria.
And Victoria's name meaning?  Victory.

So, I'm short of a victory?  Dude, I feel jipped.

But, I got 100% on my case study (Victory!)
And I made a new header (Victory!)
And its almost the weekend (Victory!)
And, once again, I don't work this Saturday (VICTORY!)

On a sadder note, one of my favorite friends had to move home.  She didn't really say much about it, other than it was for family reasons.  I drove past her house four times today (to and from work guys, not like I was creepin' her out) and wanted to cry each time!  Have you ever just made a friend so easily that you can't even really remember how you became friends?  Seriously, someone just asked us the other day how we met and the best answer we could come up with was:

Umm, well, we just started talking one day and now here we are?

So, in honor of Melissa, our friendship, our love of Glee (and Finn Hudson), and the concrete jungle that took her away from Rexburg:
