Loser like me

Remember how I love Glee?  What, I never told you that story?  About the time I thought, "Oh hey, there's that singing show.  Maybe I'll check it out." and then proceeded to watch 4 episodes in a row?  Soon it was in my top three for favorite shows and if I ever found myself bored I'd just re-watch whatever episodes were available online.
And maybe, just maybe, this love was intensified by my crush on Finn Hudson's cute little Canadian face and awkward dance moves.
And by maybe, I mean it was.

Fast forward to season 2.  Is it just me or did Glee kinda wig out?  They've still had some great songs and hilarious moments, but what's with all the drama?  I really think they're just trying too hard to appeal to every single person that ever existed and its just not working for them.  But they still manage to pull some genius out every now and then, kinda like this.  Because lets be honest, who doesn't feel like a loser every now and then?

March is so the new February

So February will always hold a special place in my heart [you know, being my birth month and all] but I do believe March just might offically be my new favorite month.

Why the sudden change?  I'll give you a few hints.

Hint #1

Hint #2

Hint #3

Any guesses?  Anyone?  Bueller....Bueller....
Oh, you mean you guessed that March is officially Finn Hudson Month on my Glee calendar?
Ding ding ding, we have a winner!

Yep, I think I really like March.

Vic-Torrie

First off, can I just say I kindasorta have a love/hate relationship with the word "victory"?

The love part comes from me being so full of myself that I love any word with my name in it.

Seriously, growing up I was obsessed with the word "mandatory" because it was my best friend's name (Amanda) and my name put together.  Pure genius in word form, right?

The hate part comes from the fact that my name almost means victory.

Well, technically I haven't ever found "Torrie" straight up spelled exactly my way in any baby name or name meaning book.  Ever.  Jerks.

But when I do find some form of my name, it always has the same meaning:  Shortened form of Victoria.
And Victoria's name meaning?  Victory.

So, I'm short of a victory?  Dude, I feel jipped.

But, I got 100% on my case study (Victory!)
And I made a new header (Victory!)
And its almost the weekend (Victory!)
And, once again, I don't work this Saturday (VICTORY!)

On a sadder note, one of my favorite friends had to move home.  She didn't really say much about it, other than it was for family reasons.  I drove past her house four times today (to and from work guys, not like I was creepin' her out) and wanted to cry each time!  Have you ever just made a friend so easily that you can't even really remember how you became friends?  Seriously, someone just asked us the other day how we met and the best answer we could come up with was:

Umm, well, we just started talking one day and now here we are?

So, in honor of Melissa, our friendship, our love of Glee (and Finn Hudson), and the concrete jungle that took her away from Rexburg:
